Listened the NPR program Future Tense about a new school Quest to Learn using gaming technology to engage kids for more effective learning. Medical education also need to put more effort on this as the new generation of the young physicians are grown up with the new digital media: game, mp3 and internet, podcast,etc.

Science just published a paper about using simulation to help students learning physics. This “encourage authentic and productive exploration of scientific phenomena, and provide credible animated models that usefully guide students’ thinking”.
